Post 115: Big Ol' Monster Post

Warning - Lots of text about to happen.
*Also, PG-13 post as there is some lewd humor (because I have the maturity of a 7th grade boy)

If you are not in the mood, check out the other spots where I have said much less:

Since you've made it this far, here's the deal.  In chatting with friends and family, it seems I have not done a very good job of giving details about upcoming events or the items I will be offering at said events.   The first one being, the "27, A Comic Anthology".  Here's the official write-up from the main site (redstylo.com/project/27-a-comic-anthology):

27, A Comic Anthology: Stars burn hot, bright and then go out forever, but their light shines on for ages after. Members of the “27 Club” reached musical stardom early in life and died too young– specifically, the tender age of 27. Some of the club’s more famous members include Jim Morrison (The Doors), Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), and Amy Winehouse. A rocking crew of comic artists and writers were challenged to take their favorite song or member of the 27 Club and use their music as inspiration for new and original comic stories and vignettes.

My 8 page story was written by the super talented Jennie Wood (jenniewood.com), and I provided all the artwork (thumbnails, pencils, inks, and colors). Below is the cover, so when you are flipping through the gorgeous hardcover that the story is contained in, you'll know when you found it!

The event this Saturday, February 13th, is a signing for the copies of 27. It is going to be held at Heroes Your Mom Threw Out Comic Shop, 130 West 14th St., Elmira Heights, New York from 1:00pm-5:00pm.  I will be joined by two other AMAZING creators, so it should be a very fun time.

I will also have VALENTINE'S DAY cards to sell, as they are ridiculously fun to create and I have a twisted sense of humor.

You made it all the way through!  Thanks!
